Overland Expo West 2025
This last month, Sackett Ranch team headed to Flagstaff for the Overland Expo West. We had the pleasure to park the ranch truck in the Toyo Tires booth and hang out with those awesome folks all weekend, see some incredible builds, shakes hands with vendors, and meet new friends!
The Coolest Vehicle Builds on the Trail
Overland Expo West isn’t just a showcase of off-road vehicles — it’s a gathering of people who pour heart, soul, and countless hours into turning their rigs into rolling reflections of their lifestyle. Every build told a story. From purpose-built minimalist setups to jaw-dropping, over-the-top dream rigs, the passion behind each detail was unmistakable.
These weren’t just builds — they were rolling testaments to creativity, function, and the pursuit of freedom. And they gave us more than a few ideas for future Sackett Ranch gear collabs, Ranch Truck modificaitons and other dream projects.
Retail Partners & Real Conversations
One of the highlights of the weekend was reconnecting with our retail partners. Being able to shake hands, talk shop, and hear about what’s working in their stores face-to-face was invaluable. The energy was electric—every conversation reminded us why community matters more than any quick transaction. For us business IS personal, we love to hear the story behind the brand, meet the passionate people behind it and learn more about their drive. Seeing other family owned and run businesses, hearing more of the history, sharing in the victories and struggles- really just connected us in a meaningful way to the others out there on their own American dream journey.
We’re proud to stand behind other brands doing big things, and this weekend gave us new ideas on how to support them even better moving forward.
Shooting Content & Building Stories
We had a blast capturing content that reflects what Sackett Ranch is all about: gear that holds up when it counts, and moments that feel real. Like we always say, we wouldn't sell you something we haven't tried ourselves, and this weekend we put our gear to the test. We also just had a lot of fun goofing off in the desert.
We set up in the booth using our new ranch rug found out how long 2 small bags of ice lasts in the Rugged Road cooler, and of course we all wore our Sackett Ranch T-shirts and showed off our new Sackett Ranch Original Trucker Hats.
Our Sackett Ranch Car Freshner kept the truck smelling amazing.
The Demerbox kept the party going with amazing sound on a long lasting battery.
From lighthearted fun video content to stunning shots of our waxed canvas trucker hats in the wild and other gear—we’ve got some exciting things to share with you soon.
Camaraderie & Team Bonding
Let’s be real—half the magic happens between the booth breakdowns and the after-hours campfire hangs. There’s something special about cracking a cold drink, sharing a laugh, and swapping adventure stories under the stars. This trip wasn’t just good for business—it was good for the soul. Our team came back tighter, more inspired, and more committed than ever to the mission of Sackett Ranch.
Exploring New Partnerships
The other half of the magic? The “what ifs.” We had some exciting conversations with other brands and builders who share our commitment to craftsmanship and the outdoor lifestyle. Brainstorming ways to all reach new levels of success and innovation, teaming up to do some rad things.. While we can’t reveal too much yet, let’s just say there’s a lot brewing—and we’re stoked for what’s next.
Final Thoughts
Overland Expo West reminded us that this isn’t just a business—it’s a way of life.
