Genuine Horween Leather
We nearly a year carefully designing the best wallet we could imagine. Most of that time was really just finding the perfect leather. Our family has roots in Chicago, home of arguably the oldest American Tannery still in business, Horween Leather.
We have worked closely with the legendary folks at Horween to develop this special Chromexcel hide that is used exclusively for Sackett Ranch leather products.
Chromexcel is produced using Horween's secret bark retannage recipe. It's hot stuffed with their own blend of natural oils, greases, and waxes.
Chromexcel is characterized by its durability, rich pull-up, and full aniline hand-rubbed finished.
To this day, it is made with old world craftsmanship and formulas that are nearly 100 years old.
