The first step to the making of our blankets is gathering donated clothing and factory scraps, saving fabric from the landfill. The recycled fabrics are then shredded into fibers in a water-free, chemical-free carding process. The fibers from carding are combined with fibers of different colors to create a unique palette without ever touching dye - and then is spun into yarn. The yarn is given new life and is woven into our blankets on a Jacquard loom. Once the fabric is woven, it is brushed and shaved to enhance softness. After the brushing process the warp yarn is twisted on both ends of the blanket to create our signature tassels. Lastly, each blanket is rigorously quality checked to ensure it is free of defects and flaws. Experience quality and craftsmanship in our blankets, proudly finished in the USA for an authentic touch.
