The ROAM 83L Rugged Case is a heavy-duty storage case that comes in 4 color options and is ideal for storing your long items such as chairs, shovels, axles, recovery gear or just adding more storage to any vehicle. Rugged low profile storage that seamlessly mounts the roof of any vehicle. This premium case features a durable LLDPE shell, steel lockable latches, and a dust/waterproof gasket seal that makes sure your gear always stays protected no matter the terrain. Having an interlocking design makes stacking and pairing simple no matter the amount of gear you carry.

In fact, they are so strong, we have even seen a full size RAM pick up truck be lowered onto a Rugged Case and the case supported its weight without cracking!

The latches of all Rugged Cases feature the ability to use a small lock to keep unwanted intruders from accessing your gear. They are also made of high-quality steel and feature a corrosion-resistant coating.
Rugged Hinge
Every Rugged Case features a patented mechanical / gas strut hinge system. This unique hinge, engineered by ROAM, assists in opening the lid of your Rugged Case, keeps the lid open, and also prevents the lid from warping in higher temperatures. This hinge is a clear testament to ROAM's commitment to continuing to evolve and improve its products after putting them through the toughest scenarios.

Every Rugged Case comes in four different colors including Slate, Desert Tan, OD Green, and Black.

Drain Plug
Although the Rugged Case keeps dirt out with its military-grade seal, that doesn't mean you wont put dirty/muddy gear inside your case after a fun-filled weekend. The built-in drain plug, lets you hose the inside of your case down when it gets dirty, letting all that water escape.

Nylon Rope Handles
Nylon rope handles with rubberized grips are included with a majority of rugged cases, providing even more ease of transporting your Rugged Case around. (please note, nylon rope handles do not come with the following case sizes: 66L, 80L, 83L)
Rugged Mounts
Rugged Mounts are available for select Rugged Case sizes, providing a secure quick release mounting solution for your case to your roof. (Sold Separately)
Lid Organizers
The Rugged Case Lid Organizers are custom-fitted to attach to the inside lid of select Rugged Cases giving you maximum organization and quick access to small and frequently used items. The Rugged Case organizers are made of 420D nylon with a PU coated backing, YKK zippers, and also includes a semi-opaque pocket that lights up your case when you place a light inside of it. (Sold Separately)
Molle Panels
The ROAM Rugged Case Molle Panel insert was created with organization in mind. Crafted around a rigid and durable design, the Rugged Case Molle Panel insert provides a consistent and completely customizable mounting surface, ensuring your gear is readily accessible and interchangeable to meet your needs.
